Three functions of ball mill block ring

The ball stop ring is one of the parts of the ball mill. In the operation of the ball mill, the stop ring plays a very important role. The following is a detailed introduction to the three roles of the ball circle.
1. Grading function
Generally, smaller steel balls or steel forges are installed in the back bin of the tube mill. In order to make the grinding body reasonably graded and improve the grinding efficiency, the ball stopper ring can only be used. In China, the third and fourth warehouses of the baseball mill and the second food of the coal mill are equipped with ball blocking rings. Through the test of the grading function of the ball ring, the result shows that the installation of the ball ring must be reasonable, otherwise the expected effect can not be achieved. The grading mechanism of the retaining ring: The key reason why it can make the grinding body in the mill grade is that its structure has a series of long holes to contain the grinding body. The grinding body near the ball stop ring is raised higher due to the restraining effect of the ball stop ring, resulting in a large inner radius of the grinding body, forming a concave near the ball stop ring, and the large steel ball is easy to move, so it moves to the concave, and the large steel ball is crowded away when it is gathered to the four holes, thus producing a grading effect.

2. Block the flow of materials
In the fine grinding bin of the ball mill, n stopper rings are installed along the axial equidistance to form a partition wall along the axis of the mill body, which blocks the flow of the material, so as to prolong the residence time of the material in the mill, so that the material can be fully ground. The retaining ring also has the function of stabilizing the flow rate of the material and preventing the backflow of the material. Therefore, the ball blocking ring plays a certain role in the separation device. In fact, the material is equivalent to a half of the single-layer insulation board.

3. Play the role of lifting balls and lifting materials
There are two structures in the blocking circle:
First, it is used in the third and fourth warehouse of the ball mill, which is a smooth surface and adopts a direct fixing method;
The second is a new type of stopper ring, used in the cement mill after the bin, this surface with small ripples, the same as the small corrugated liner, and because of the design into a large waveform, the annular section is also designed into a waveform, which has many radial long holes, the grinding body and materials have a certain lifting effect, increase the grinding capacity of the fine mill bin.
The ball stop ring is fixed directly on the cylinder with bolts, and there are also bolts fixed on the cylinder through the support ring. The ball stop ring is used to stop the lining board, so that the lining board is stable and not easy to collapse. However, the ball stop ring wears quickly, and when changing the ball stop ring, the lining plate must be removed at the same time, which increases the maintenance workload, so the ball stop ring is now fixed directly in the cylinder with bolts.
